THE STORY

One team. Factory knowledge, agentic AI, and industrial software, together.

From 2021 to 2024, our CEO Nelson Atipo leads automation and digitalization on the 4680 battery assembly lines at Tesla's Berlin Gigafactory. There he makes the observation that will become the company's foundation: thousands of technical documents scattered across systems, languages, and formats, while production needs answers, right now.

Jean-Philippe Nitkowski and Lucien Moy are already entrepreneurs. Together they design and ship platforms at scale, internal and external, for big corporations. Jean-Philippe leads product and design, Lucien development and architecture. When AutomAssist is founded, Jean-Philippe becomes CPO, Lucien CTO. Antonio Ibars and Miquel Jimenez, engineers on the same lines as Nelson, complete the team.

The team is balanced: deep knowledge of Industry 4.0, industrial processes, and automation systems, paired with the expertise to build a platform that meets the scalability, deployment, and security demands of the world's largest factories.

In June 2024, AutomAssist is founded in Paris, so no one has to hunt for an answer that already exists.
